What we collect
When you fill in the quote form, call, text or email us, we collect what you give us:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- The address of the job, including suburb and postcode
- What you need done, and any photos you send
- Notes from the job, before and after photos, quotes and invoices
When you visit the website, Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel collect information about your visit using cookies, such as the pages you looked at, the device you used and roughly where you are. This doesn't include your name or contact details.
Why we collect it
- To give you a quote and contact you about it
- To book, do and invoice the job, and send you photos when it's done
- To ask for a review once the job is finished
- To see which pages and ads bring people to the website, so we can improve them
We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who else sees it
We use a few trusted services to run the business, and they handle your information for us:
- ServiceM8, for quotes, jobs, photos and invoices
- Xero, for accounts
- Resend, which sends the emails from the quote form
- Photon, an OpenStreetMap address search, which suggests street names as you type your address in the quote form
- Google Analytics and Meta, for website and advertising statistics
- Our payment provider, when you pay by card or tap. We never see or store your full card number.
Some of these services store information on servers outside Australia. We only share information with others when it's needed to do your job, or when the law requires it.
Cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the website will still work. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and manage how Meta uses your information in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
Keeping it safe
Your information is kept in password-protected accounts that only MatePro can get into. We keep job records for as long as we need them for the business and for tax, then delete them.
Seeing or changing your information
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@matepro.com.au or call 0494 733 274 and we'll sort it out.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us first and we'll do our best to fix it. If you're still not happy, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
